The initial weight loss with Medifast can be very dramatic, but I don't think it is a concern necessarily. I know folks that lost 16-20 pounds in their first week on Medifast! It would seem the more you are over weight the more you lose immediately. You will find that you body will quickly balance out to a slower, steady weight loss.

If you have concerns, I would encourage you to contact the folks on the Medifast Nutrition team. They can be reached through the Medifast community, a free resource.

Ethan does look great!

I went off the Medifast myself, and didn't keep up with the workouts, or eating healthy. This is my 2nd time doing the Medifast. And yeah, I did gain back ALL the weigh...plus 6 more pounds! Yahhhhh!!!

I spoke w/Ethan the other day and he inspired me, along with my sis-in-laws, both re-doing the Medifast as well.

We can DO it!!!

Ethan: (and/or whomever)

I am on my second day with MF. I lost 3.5 lbs in one day and have lost 2 lbs so far today. I weighed this afternoon because I didn't think 3.5 lbs in one day was very healthy. Am following the diet according to its directions. My starting weight was 160. My goal is 130. I am only 5'3" and petite, though overweight. Should I just add a meal? Thanks for your help.
