Karen, the pleasure is all mine. As I have said before, posting my experiences is as much for me as it is for all of you. I am grateful to the folks at Medifast for allowing me to share my journey with you all.

Drive-by eating is very common in over weight folks that I know. We all tend to snipe food out of frustration, boredom, during times of stress and even when we are really happy! Emotional eating is a tough one to conquer, but if you take time to have some internal dialog with yourself along the way, you can change your views on food and awaken yourself to what you are doing. Best of luck!

Hi Brett,
I just received my 28 day kit and I am also very excited to begin this journey. I have read everyone of these testimonials and I love them all. I particularly like yours. I am 57 so I am thinking that its goning to be hard to get over the bad eating habits I have established. Like you its the drive by's that scare me. I eat out of boredom most times. Reading your five week report makes me wish I would have started this 5 weeks ago too. Anyway your column has been very inspirational to me. I see you have a very good sense of humor and I appreciate you taking your time to post your journey for the rest of us.

Thanks Margo! I have to say, I'm seeing a positive upswing in my attitude this past week. I think giving up the fatty foods is doing my heart, brain and body good!
