I have some new news and realizations that I would like to share!
1. I got a treadmill for the house the other day. I had been relying on getting out with my baby Magnus for some nice long walks and jogs with the jogging stroller but found myself not being able to do it EVERY day because of my busy schedule. So I went ahead and got a treadmill to solve that problem. I love it! I am able to get in an hour workout while I have a load of laundry going and the baby is sleeping! Perfect! It’s PERFECT.
2. I also got the baby a gym membership at a place called “My Gym”, it’s for little kids. They have them all over the country. I figure best to get the little guy started early on health and fitness education and have a lot of fun at the same time! He goes twice a week, once with me and once with Dad.
3. Another thing I would like to share, I have been thinking about this slogan I heard on TV and I have been hearing randomly from people. “Diets don’t work”. I gave this some thought and I honestly had to disagree with this. See, I believe that diets or a healthy weight loss program does work! When you diet or do the Medifast Program and lose weight you get down to the size you are most happy with. The problem occurs when we get there we think that “Oh all of a sudden we are cured! I don’t have to diet anymore!” NOT TRUE! Diets or weight loss programs DO WORK as long as you get to your goal weight and STAY there, and that’s where Medifast really stands out with their Transition and Maintenance Programs. Most weight loss programs just ditch you once you reach your goal, but not Medifast. I will forever as long as I live, have to remain on a healthy diet, I can NOT just eat whatever I want when I want, but Medifast will help me eat right and stay healthy for the rest of my life. It occurred to me that most of us do not realize we need to maintain our eating habits and control our intake always.
I am very grateful that I have this new way of living. I feel fantastic and am a happy as can be. I am forever grateful to Medifast!
