Happy St. Patty’s Day!

Now don’t be going to any drive thru lookin for a shamrock shake! That would be a BIG……NO NO!! And stay away from the Guinness too!

You just stick to your trusted Medifast shakes and all will be just fine! LOL.

I have been having a good time with people noticing my great weight loss and all the compliments that come with it. It really makes me feel good.

I have even been out swimsuit shopping, usually never fun. But this time since my weight is down I felt good about it and like how I look in my new suits. I am ready and looking forward to summer. This summer I am going to stay on the Momentum by Medifast Flavor Infusers to keep my metabolism boosted. I highly recommend it, and they taste amazing!

Now that the weather has warmed up, I will also be getting more active outside with the baby. Get back into my routine of jog/walking and going to the park. It is SO important to stay active everyday if you can.

Have a great week and keep sticking to it! Be proud of yourself!

Oh MY! My Medifast Friends!

I am Mickey Mouse’d OUT! I was just at… you guessed it, Disneyland all day today. I must say it was quite the workout running around that park. It was a great time for sure. I have said this before and I will say it again, taking those “Ready-to-Drink Shakes” with me makes all the difference in the world, it just makes life SO simple. I threw the shakes in the stroller along with all the kids’ snacks and we went off to have a great day! You actually end up spending a lot less money when you have those shakes with you, just think about it, if you were not on the Medifast Weight Loss Program you would be spending lots of cash buying all those junky snacks that make you fat. NO THANK YOU!!!

I sure do hope you are spending your time thinking ahead like that when you know you will not be home to have a meal. Always plan ahead. Always!

Keep on it and keep it going! Be sure of yourself and proud. Making this commitment is not always easy. So be proud that you are on the right track.

Talk to you again very soon. Bye for now my friends.

Hello 2008!

Hello 2008!

I don’t know about you, but I am holiday’d out! Don’t get me wrong I had a wonderful holiday with my family and extended family absolutely wonderful - I am just kinda glad to get on with the NEW YEAR!

I am sure for many of you the holidays were a bit rough on our Medifast Program. I know for me it was hard to manage at times. When we went out to eat all was good. I could order my Lean & Green no problem. But when you are having dinner at someone’s house and you don’t have control or say on the menu, you have to get creative. LOL! I don’t eat turkey ever and found myself eating it on Christmas because it was the only meat being served and I gotta tell ya, it was really quite good! Might try it again sometime. I also had the Ready Made Shakes shipped out to me in Tennessee where I spent Christmas. That made my life A LOT easier to have them on hand.

Oh my gosh! Here was the BEST part, for New Years we did the San Diego Zoo one day, then Sea World the next and Lego Land the last day! Three Parks in three Day’s with three Children 3 years old and under. Talk about a trip! FUN! And all the junk food everywhere! Again I say, thank God for those Ready Made Shakes! I just threw them in my stroller everyday and away we went.

I feel like I have been so out of touch with you guys since the holidays started. I got SO busy and lots of travel it was hard to keep in touch. I am glad we are back on track and away from all of the holiday temptations. Moving on!

So I got home and weighed myself and found I had gone up 3 pounds. Bummer! Guess that bite of stuffing and the couple of fries I gladly took off Lloyd’s plate and a piece of my Birthday cake did me in on the 3 pounds. That’s OK. Since I have been home the last 2 days and into my normal routine I have already lost those 3 pounds. It was only 3 pounds - nothing to freak out about. But now, I still have a bit more to lose I feel. Although I love the way I am looking and I feel really great I could stand to loose maybe 10 more pounds. I am sure the holiday rush set me off a bit, there is no doubt. I did forget and skip some meals in all the rush. But I am back with a vengeance!!!

I will check back with you in a week and let you know how I have done! And for those of you who really fell of track over the holidays, don’t be discouraged at all. Pick back up and keep on going. You have made progress! Be proud of yourself for being on this program and making Medifast a part of your lifestyle.

Hello My Merry Medifast Friends!

Here we are with Christmas closing in. I know for myself because I have been so busy getting my own Christmas party together these past few days. My Christmas party is on Saturday and there is lots to do. But most important is to keep the menu for the night as Lean and Green as possible. I have planned lots of fresh cut veggies, various meats and salads. I am sure that someone will show up with some homemade cookies, but it is important to stay away from those and if any are left over… send them home with friends! LOL

I’m glad the party is in my own house because then it’s easier to control myself should I have any urges. I certainly can use a bar as my dessert or make myself some pudding. The good part is there are a lot of options for us on the Medifast Program when the holiday buffet table can get to us. Just need to keep our head clear and not dive into the “bad for us” stuff.

On another note, because I am with my new baby all the time I don’t always get to go for a jog or a hike on a consistent basis. My way to make up for that is, when he is having a nap do something indoors. I do push-ups, sit-ups etc. I also got these new sneakers that are designed to tone you, it’s like the equivalent to walking in the sand. So if you wear them all day, you get a good workout. This is so important when doing Medifast, you must find some sort of activity everyday. Some days will be more than others but best to try to do anything you can. Plus it makes you feel great too!

I am loving my weight loss and feeling so good all the time. I hope you are too!

I must go get this holiday/birthday party together and leave you for now. I will check in next week and let you know how it all went.

Make good solid choices over this holiday season so as to stay on track. Let’s support each other!
