Feeling Great!

Hello My Medifast Friends!

How are you feeling? I am feeling pretty darn great right now! I had a wonderful weekend with my Mom who is also doing Medifast. We had a lot of fun making our meals together. One night I made our Lean & Green Meal here at home - and she loved what I cooked for her! I did veggies and steak on the BBQ. We had a really nice time bonding and spending time with the baby.

I must say, my mom looks amazing. It’s like her clothes are falling off of her! I am so glad she looks great and feels great, I am very proud of her! I too feel wonderful, and my weight continues to drop every week. I have lost 24 pounds! I am almost to my goal. I am guessing one more month and I will be there! It is SO exciting! I can’t wait!

I hope you all looked into getting a HealthMate blender. It’s just fantastic and makes life a lot easier!

Hang in it’s not that tough. You’ll lose the weight you want to lose! Just keep doing your Medifast!

Hey everyone… I hope you all are having a great Medifast Week! ;)

Just a heads up to all who might be interested - I am excited to announce that I will be hosting my first success chat on the MyMedifast* support website! The chat will be at 2:00 p.m. eastern time (11 a.m. here in CA) on Thursday, August 23, 2007.

I am really looking forward to talking with you guys. I want to share my story so far and tips for success, but I definitely want to hear from you guys too!

Off to a Great Start!

I am happy to announce that after 2 1/2 weeks on Medifast, I have lost 5 1/2 pounds! YAHOO!!! This in just that short time; way to go to me! This has not been without some minor setbacks as well as some really great moments for myself on the journey to my desired weight and appearance. Because of my busy schedule, traveling to appearances, and not always being able to get my meals in I have had a few “little” throw backs. :-) I am really enjoying the Lean & Green Meals. Lloyd and I prepare all our meals together and it is a great part of my day to sit down and eat so very healthy as well as have some wonderful family time around the dinner table.

The shakes have been great as well. I also love that I can have a bar or a snack when I feel the urge to dip into the “cookie jar” so to speak. The hiking that we do every weekend is adding to my fitness level although we are starting out very slowly so as to not overwork myself in the early stages of my weight-loss program. Having to feed our son Magnus almost every 3-4 hours is the perfect fit for me to eat my meals and not forget. But lets be honest, with me only eating 1000 calories a day do you really think I am going to forget to eat?!? Highly unlikely. :-) I am looking forward to the next few weeks where I can get more physical with my exercise program and just watch those pounds fall away and start fitting into some of my old clothes that have been hanging in the closet just begging for an outing on the town!

Be good, be healthy, and always remember to love yourself through the journey as well as the “you” that is waiting for you at the end of the journey.
