Like most of you, I’ve struggled with weight almost my entire life. I can actually remember worrying about my weight in grade school, which seems amazing to me now. When I was just 15, General Hospital put Laura (me!) on a diet – and although I didn’t realize it then, this negatively impacted my self-image. I never felt comfortable in my own skin and never felt I looked good enough.
Well, I’m now older and wiser, and have two beautiful children. But to be honest, with running my kids all over the place and the demands of work and life’s other trials, I’ve struggled to focus on myself and shed the weight. I’ve tried many fad diets, but now I’m trying Medifast, and I’m so glad I found it! It’s so much easier than the other options; the food is good and it’s one of the first weight-loss plans that I’ve been a part of that actually has a plan for maintenance.
Other diets have helped me shed pounds in the past, but they’ve never had a plan for maintaining my weight loss. With Medifast’s weight loss, transition and maintenance phases, I’m confident the weight will come off and stay off!
